To support our mandate HBA Chartered Professional Accountants is seeking a Tax Accountant at the Manager to Senior Manager Level.

Reporting to the partners and senior managers, the Tax Accountant Manager will assist with and oversee personal and corporate tax engagements for owner-managed businesses, including:

· identifying planning opportunities for clients

· planning and overseeing tax returns and other work prepared by junior staff

· preparing tax and estate plans

· presenting client deliverables; and

· advising clients on critical business decisions

· be a member of our Management team.

Personally, you have a high level of integrity, initiative and interpersonal savvy to build solid and trusting relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Manager:

For a manager role, a minimum of four years in public accounting dealing with Canadian Taxation would be expected, including experience with corporate reorganizations and estate planning.

As a member of the firm’s Management Team, and the AC Group Tax Committee, you also bring proven leadership abilities and skills, including mentoring, coaching, and motivating professional staff.
