In this challenging role, you will be responsible for:
• Providing accounting support for clients including payables, receivables, payroll, inventory management, bank and credit card reconciliations, etc. utilizing various accounting software packages including QuickBooks, QuickBooks Online, Xero, Dext, Payment Evolution, etc.
• Preparing client payroll runs, and other support with payroll related tasks (remittances, ROEs, T4s, etc.)
• Providing assistance with the preparation of personal income tax returns
• Preparation of working papers (Microsoft Excel) to substantiate account balances, summaries of transactions, etc.
• Other duties as assigned
Qualifications, Skills, and Attributes:
• Proficient computer skills including experience with Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, Outlook; QuickBooks, QuickBooks Online)
• Strong organizational skills with ability to multi-task, ability to meet deadlines
• Good communication skills and ability to work well with clients and colleagues
• Interest in acquiring new skills
