Summary of Job Responsibilities:
• Preparation of working papers (Microsoft Excel) to substantiate account balances, summaries of transactions, etc. in relation to year-end files for Audit, Review and Compilation engagements.
• Providing accounting support for clients including payables, receivables, payroll, inventory management, bank and credit card reconciliations, etc. utilizing various accounting software packages
• Preparation of personal income tax returns
• Developing and maintaining strong client relationships
Qualifications, Skills, and Attributes:
• Strong organizational skills with ability to multi-task, ability to meet deadlines
• Excellent communication skills including written and verbal. Ability to pivot to client preferred method
• Collaborative mindset, with a desire to build relationships with clients and colleagues
• Interest in continually acquire new skills including active pursuit of the CPA designation
• Proficient computer skills including experience with Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, Outlook; QuickBooks, QuickBooks Online)
